Rust-O's 2025 Graffiti Event Tour: A Recap of the Action

Rust-O On Tour: A Recap of Four Legendary Graffiti Events

The Rust-O team has been busy! We hit the road, connecting with the heart and soul of the street art scene by visiting four of the biggest art and street festivals in the country.

And we didn't just show up; we immersed ourselves in the culture, shared thousands of cans of artist spray paint, and witnessed firsthand how street artists and muralists are transforming cities into living masterpieces. From the hallowed grounds of the Graffiti Hall of Fame to the largest graffiti event in the U.S., we were there to support the creators who make their mark boldly.

The mission was simple: empower artists with superior tools and celebrate the vibrant communities they build. We saw incredible talent, from famous graffiti artists to rising street stars, all united by a passion for the craft. The energy was electric, the creativity was off the charts, and the artwork was legendary.

So, let's recap!

Graffiti Hall of Fame – Harlem, NYC

Our tour kicked off at a place of reverence: the Graffiti Hall of Fame in Harlem. Celebrating its 45th anniversary, this is the oldest and most respected street art event, a true graffiti museum where legends have left their mark since 1985. Being here felt like walking on sacred ground, surrounded by decades of graffiti history.

As an official sponsor, we brought 400 cans of premium Rust-O artist spray paint to the event. Our team set up the Rust-O van, becoming a hub of activity. We handed out around 2,000 ice pops, postcards, and stickers, connecting with artists and fans under the hot New York sun.

The highlight was sponsoring the incredible Mister Totemm (@mistertotem2). Watching him work was a masterclass in spray painting techniques. He used our wide range of spray paint colors to create a stunning piece, his can control turning a blank wall into a dynamic graffiti mural.

The team soaked in the history and connected with dozens of artists, reaffirming our commitment to supporting the pioneers of this culture.

Boone Ave Walls – Bronx, NY

Next, we headed to another iconic New York location: the Boone Ave Walls in the Bronx. This incredible project transforms entire neighborhoods like West Farms, Mott Haven, and Foxhurst into a sprawling street of art.

As the official spray paint sponsor, we were honored to fuel the creativity that makes these walls a must-see destination.

The Rust-O van was in full effect, giving out 3,000 ice pops, t-shirts, postcards, and stickers to the community. The atmosphere was all about collaboration and community empowerment.

We sponsored the legendary street artist Persue (@persue1), who put our paint to the test. He demonstrated why Rust-O is trusted for its vibrant, good acrylics and flawless coverage, creating a bold and unforgettable mural wall.

Meanwhile, the Rust-O team, was on the ground, meeting and working with the talented mural painters who make the Bronx a global epicenter for street art.

Paint Louis – St. Louis, MO

Then it was on to the biggest one of all: Paint Louis in St. Louis. As the largest graffiti event in the United States, it draws 400-500 artists from all over the world. The scale of this event is breathtaking, with miles of graffiti wall art coming to life over one weekend.

We rolled up with the Rust-O van and handed out an incredible 1,200 cans of spray paint. From sharp lines to broad fills, artists were excited to try our diverse palette of graffiti colors.

We had the honor of sponsoring a trio of iconic artists: Lady Pink (@ladypinknyc), Dr. Dax (@dr.dax), and Vizie (@eiziv). Watching these famous artists create masterpieces side-by-side was awe-inspiring. They showcased the endless mural ideas for a wall that can be born from skill and the right tools.

2 Buck Invitational – Louisville, KY

Our final stop was the 2 Buck Invitational in Louisville, Kentucky, an event known for its tight-knit community feel and high-caliber talent. With around 100 participating artists, it was an intimate yet powerful gathering. As the official sponsor, we provided 600 cans of Rust-O, ensuring every artist had access to high-quality, inexpensive spray paint without sacrificing performance.

The event also included an art show, which provided a fantastic opportunity to see the diverse styles and techniques of the participating artists. We sponsored the phenomenal Mary Merlow (@merlotism), whose work demonstrated incredible skill and creativity. Her piece was a highlight, a perfect example of painting mural art that tells a story.

Fueling the Future of Street Art

This tour was more than just a series of events; it was a celebration of the artists, the culture, and the communities that make street art one of the most dynamic art forms in the world. From historic walls to massive festivals, we saw how a simple spray can transform a space and inspire a neighborhood. We are more committed than ever to empowering artists with the tools they need to create their legacy.
